Applications

During the year our applications are processed in the following way:

Pre-Grade and Grade 1:
Interview & Entrance Assessment.
Grades 2 - 12:
Interview & Entrance Exam (Term 2)

Timetable (Grades 1 - 12)

We follow a 7 day cycle, which provides for maximum lessons and allows for additional non-examination subjects to be included in the curriculum.

From Grade 1 each school day with a compulsory registration period in each classroom, which allows time for a Bible reading and prayers as well as for the discussion of any relevant matters.

Term Dates 2010

As a member of the Independent Schools' Council, St Dominic's usually follows a 3 term school year. However, because of the 2010 World Cup, we will have four terms this year.

School Fees & Payments 2010

Please remember that school fees are due and payable monthly in advance January - December (12 payments).

Payments can be made

• via debit order on the 5th of every month - please contact the Accounts Department for Debit Order Forms
• at the school between 07h30 and 14hOO by debit/credit card, cash or cheque.
• via direct deposits or internet payments - please fax or e-mail proof of payment.

Inter House Competitions

These are organised throughout the year in the extra curricular activities. There are three Houses in St Dominic's: Michael (blue), Gabriel (red) and Raphael (yellow).

School Uniform Suppliers

Second-Hand Shop

The Second-Hand Shop offers good quality second hand school wear from Pre-Grade to Matric at affordable prices. The shop will be open every Wednesday from 07h30 - 08h30 for your convenience and you will be able to donate and purchase second-hand items. We look forward to seeing you. Find us opposite the Lunch Shop.
