JUNIOR SCHOOL: GENERAL INFORMATION

Frequently Asked Questions

Does one have to be Catholic to join St Dominic's?

The School is an open academic institution and admits pupils of all races and religious denominations.  We always aim for the ideal conditions for teaching and learning in an atmosphere of care and concern for each pupil.

What are some of the benefits of attending a private school?

St Dominic's Junior School prides itself on its high academic standard which  is made possible by the excellence of its staff and the small classes.  Classes are kept to less than 30 pupils.  Most of the pupils who enter St Dominic's in the Primary School continue through the grades and matriculate here, thus giving their school years a continuity and stability which is of great value in these times of rapid change.

Are Entrance Examinations required?

All applicants are required to write entrance examinations. For more information, contact Mrs Morris (011) 917 5150.
