SENIOR SCHOOL
|
| General Information |
|
The school follows the curricula of the National Core Syllabus from Pre-Grade to Grade 12. St Dominic's Matric pupils write the school leaving examination set by the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) . We pride ourselves on our high academic standard which is made possible by the excellence of our staff and the small classes. Our classes are kept to less than 30 pupils. In the High School, subject choices result in the classes dividing into even smaller groups. Most of the pupils who enter St Dominic's in the Primary School continue through the grades and matriculate here, thus giving their school years a continuity and stability which is of great value in these times of rapid change.
The School is an open academic institution and admits pupils of all races and religious denominations. All applicants are required to write entrance examinations.
|
All pupils who are on the school property after 14h00, when school closes, and are not participating in extra mural activities, are expected to be in the Homework Supervision Centre, doing their homework from 14h15 - 16h15.
When the session ends at 16h15 pupils must remain on the school property until such time as they are collected.
CELL PHONES
Please note that the school is NOT LIABLE FOR THE LOSS OR THEFT OF CELL PHONES.
